This villa is our mountain villa, located in a valley about 3km outside Sorede. The nature is on the doorstep to this villa and you may enjoy easy access to the numerous mountain paths and scenic views.
A river runs through the valley and can be quite spectacular when the water runs high.

is a traditional Catalan village, located at the foothill of the Albères mountain range offering both tranquillity and easy access to leisure, the beach and the mountains. Covered in major part by the national forest, but also by wine and the fruit growings. The beauty of its landscape and its near beeches, chestnuts and oaks trees, gives a calming atmosphere. The village also has some fabulous restaurants.
Our villa is located in the southernmost parts of Laroque. The nearest restaurant is only 5 minutes away and still, nearest nature walk is just at the edge of the garden.
The "Les Albères" area, named after the mountain range, has a wealth of activities in and around it. With about 12km/7 miles to the beach, it offers something for everyone.
The area is famous for its many vineyards, and you can taste and buy wine from the growers direct.

The villa is detached, luxurious and very large. It is built in traditional Catalan style with light colouring and tiled flooring. The garden is bright and sunny throughout the day but also offers areas with shade.
There are three bedrooms at the property and they all have their unique features. Six people are very comfortable in this large villa (160m2). There is also a child bed that can be used as a cot.
All rooms are decorated in a light Mediterranean style with stylish furniture. All floors in the villa are tiled. All windows have shutters which are very much needed in the Mediterranean sun.
The villa is set in a residential area of Laroque-des-Albères ensuring the peace and quiet that you deserve during your holiday. Shops, restaurants and night-life are not more than 5-10 minutes walk away. With its own driveway, parking is never a problem even if you have two or even three cars.
The garden is mature and very large. It has a number of palms and fully grown cypress trees and other plants tastefully arranged. A stone fountain, a gate made of granite and a number of figurines gives a very exclusive and calming feeling.
The garden and pool are maintained on a regular basis ensuring the highest quality and cleanliness.
The Dining patio - Located at the top end of the pool area allowing secluded meals. There is a summer kitchen with barbecue and running water.
The Pool patio - Located on the east side of the villa is the pool patio which is sunny throughout the day. The pool house also houses a shower.
The patio holds a number of deck chairs and sun beds.
At the other end of the pool area, the garden stretches to the edge of the property.
The Pool - is large for being in a private house, measuring 4 x 8 meters. The rectangular pool's depth range from 1.2 m to 2.3 m. The pool water is filtered with a sand filter ensuring the highest quality.
For security regulations, the pool has a cover to prevent accidents and it is the responsibility of the tenant to assure this is in place when the pool is not watched or used.

The Front of the Villa - has a long driveway and plenty of car parking space. A gate prevents others to enter the property. However, the fence and gates will not stop your pet if you have one with you. A walkway leads around the property to it's more secluded parts of the property.
The Entrance hall - Leads to stairs, lounge and kitchen. It holds a small toilet and the utility room.
The Utility room - Holds a washing machine, iron and ironing board and other utilities.
The Kitchen - The kitchen has direct access to the front patio of the house. This patio is perfect for breakfasts. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove, oven, microwave and fridge freezer. It also has all normal kitchen appliances such as glass, plates, cutlery, dishwasher etc.
The Lounge - About 30sqm, with dining area it is the heart of the house. It has a dining area for six and a seating area for all six people. The TV has a number of channels, both French and foreign. There is also a DVD player in place. Access to the study is done via the lounge.
The Study - Large study/library with comfortable armchairs by the fireplace.
Bedroom 1 - Double bedroom with view over the pool area. The bed measures 180x200cm.
Bedroom 2 - Double bedroom with its own balcony facing the front of the house. The bed measures 180x200cm.
Shower and WC - Accessed only from bedroom 1 and bedroom 2.
Bedroom 3 - The Master double bedroom. The bed measures 180x200cm. This is a large room which also has a child bed (160x70 cm). This bedroom enjoys its own en-suite with shower and WC. Access to the upper terrace facing the pool area.
